The enzymes seem to " last " about 45 minutes for most kids, so if he eats a smallish lunch, then a few minutes later snacks on a little something, you're probably okay. But if he continues to nibble, you might want to look at www.ezymestuff.com in the " mixing ideas " section. I guess some people make " slushie " enzyme-juice drinks that stay active for up to four hours. Or you could just disolve a Pep in juice in one of those thermal cups with ice and have him take sips from the cup while he's eating infractions. That should last for the party. The point is to keep the enzymes cold and they'll last for four hours. > Of course, if he's not interested > in anything " bad " , I won't give him enzymes at all, Enzymes aren't really something you should work to avoid using. I mean, with my son, he can get hyper if I use too many enzymes for too little food, or a tummy ache if I give him too many enzymes with no food at all, but he doesn't have any truly concerning side effects from those situations. Especially with the Pep, taken on an empty stomach, it can help with gut inflammation, with yeast... I guess I'm saying you don't have to worry about giving the enzymes if he doesn't eat anything " bad, " and in fact, they will still do good things for the body if they don't have the gluten/casein to work on. > Thank you! Have fun at the party!
Guest guest
Thank you, ! That's good advice! I know it's controversial, but I mix the enzymes into GFCF melted chocolate and make them into candies with candy molds. It's the only way I could get them into my son with all his weird food issues. But hey, whatever works! > , > > > I've been using Peptizyde with my 4 year old son, Lucas, for about > 2 > > months and have been very happy with it. Guest guest
Sorry, I've been thinking about my earlier, speedy response to this post, about how enzymes are something you don't need to worry about giving. I don't mean for you to take that too lightly. So for example, if he's never had Pep on an empty stomach, a party would not be the time to trial that. I think a cold enzyme juice that you could let him sip on throughout the party if he seems inclined to snack on goodies would be the best way to go. > Hi everyone, > > I've been using Peptizyde with my 4 year old son, Lucas, for about 2 > months and have been very happy with it. Guest guest
, The chocolate wafer idea is great! If that is working I would suggest you give him 1 each hour of the party simply because in that atmosphere he could easily get into something unplaaned. That is the nature of 'parties' to do the unusual. Because he has shown good tolerance to Peptizyde and infractions before, you can rely on it working similarly. Enjoying a party is a great way to improve quality of life AND boost the immune system. So please don't think of it being a negative or something you have to 'get through'...you are helping his health. Laughing and having fun can help ones health in all-natural mega-ways that supplements, diets, and meds just can't reach. .
