Hi - I am looking for information more specific to enzyme use

and ADHD (and maybe generalized allergies). I know they are

mentioned as helping, but I can't seem to find much specific info

- good or bad. We have the Houston enzymes that we are going

to try with my 10 year old son- its not any more expensive than

some of the meds we have tried, and they have to have fewer

bad side effects!!! After all the good things I've read - we decided

it was worth a try - but if anyone has specific info use with ADHD

inattentive - I would sure love to hear from you. Sue in Iowa.

Sue in Iowa,

I am in the Feingold org and there are quite a few people using No-

Fenol in particular to help with the phenol foods. Some use other

enzyme products for all foods too. But the ADHD kids seems to respond

particularly well with No-Fenol.

In addition, they do very very well with:

- removing all artificial additives and preservatives (including

hidden ones)

http://www.enzymestuff.com/dietsfg.htm

- a number of them are quite sensitive to corn syrup (maybe because

of the hidden sulfites)

- epsom salts www.enzymestuff.com/epsomsalts.htm

- magnesium (not oxide or carbonate forms). There is research showing

good response of ADHDers to magnesium supplementation

Let me know if you need more on any of these. best.
