The rash I'm almost certain is from the wheat simply because of it's timing, we tried 2% milk after the GI insisted they couldn't possibly be lactose intolerant - no rash, just major gas (which was the reason I stopped drinking milk when I was nursing). The ice cream trial was Wed. night and Thurs. he had no rash, just major gas. The pizza trial was Thursday mid day and this morning is the poop accident and the rash, so I think it's got to be the wheat or we would have seen that yesterday morning from the ice cream trial wed. night. >And are you giving enzymes with every meal? or just to test the infraction. I'm giving AFP chewables whenever I think of it, I can't get them to eat the powders w/o mixing them w/ chocolate so I'm not using those daily. I decided to mix the AFP with the lactaid since lactaid always somewhat worked in the past (it didn't make things 100% but it did prevent the full on diarrhea) >My thought would be to have him doing the enzymes completely everyday for >a month before trying an infraction. I've been doing AFP Pepitzyde for a month, Zyme Prime for 2 weeks, >hoping No fenol will be here early next week and when we have been on all >three i am going to do the challenge. That sounds like a good plan, it'll be a while before we try this again, perhaps after the others have chewable versions available. I'll continue using the AFP for cross contamination and when there is a possible infraction... - near LAX

Oh, also both boys have almost identical reactions to all foods ingested. Nate only had the ice cream, not the pizza - he had some mushy poops & gas but no rash. Nate's poops are better today and gas is gone. Nate never got a rash. Isaac has a rash, poop accident in his sleep (which only happens when his sensory systems have shut down from gluten infraction) and Isaac still has major gas and a rash. I guess the gas is from the dairy and the rash is from the wheat or he would have gotten the rash yesterday from ingesting the dairy Wed. night. Since it didn't show up till today it's got to be from the wheat in the pizza Thurs. - near LAX

He eats tomato paste, sauce and various derivatives all the time with no problems - I don't think Phenols is the issue...
