Guest guest
thats a heap. the issue is malabsorbtion, that only a very small portion of that is being absorbed, once the gut starts to heal with enzymes then quite a bit less is need. if the gut is healthy he may only need from .5 to 5 mg. personally i think 300 mg way to much even for malabsorbtion but pfeiffer seem not to be on the ball recently. the pfieffer formulas need a lot of work. > Do kids need less vitamin B6 when they start enzymes? Usually yes, they need less of most supplements, because enzymes allow better absorption and utilization of the nutrients. 300 mg of B6 is a LOT of B6! You might discover it causes hyper once you start enzymes. Dana
Guest guest
My daughter developed a lacey rash as well as hyperness from B6 after enzymes. This is presumably from high absorption (which is a good thing.) She now tolerates a low dose of vit B's which she gets in taking a low dose of Brainchild vitamins-we use the graduated formula which is lower in B's, but I believe they just came out with an even lower B that we will try when this runs out. My daughter used to also take a fairly high dose of TMG which she does not use now. > Do kids need less vitamin B6 when they start enzymes?
