Guest guest
Just wanted to close the circle with everyone here and thank you again for all the personal and scientific info re: the flu shot. We decided not to get the shot this year, and perhaps to try Tamiflu instead, depending on the circumstances. I'm going to keep Sambucol, oocccciiilllmmmm (lol, however you spell that stuff), and other remedies on hand in case we need them. Let's hope for a healthy winter for everyone! When my alarm went off at 6am, I felt a LOT better. So for me, flu started at about 4pm Monday and went until about 4am Thursday. 2-1/2 days, not too bad. Good luck. Not too bad, he only needed medication for 24 hours, he is mostly over it now. #4 was only mildly ill, probably just a cold. No medication required. Still driving all of us crazy.... #3 is now REALLY sick. Last night was his first night of medication. He was REALLY HOT this morning, WOW, even worse than I was! And hubby and #1 left for the weekend [great timing huh?], hubby had been sick but was getting over it, #1 still has not had it, I sure hope he does not get it while they are gone, altho I sent along medication for him, just in case. I hope we have now " done our time " and will be healthy all the rest of the winter! [Fat chance, huh?] At least I am basically *over it* now. Last year I coughed for 4 months. I think it was the OLE that helped, I did not use that last year. Dana
