hello,

here i am again with a new question, i'm living right full time on my

search, and because it goes so slowly another question...

do older people (i'm 25) react slower to new situations like enzymes and

diet... or not ? or isn't it possible to tell...

i was thinking when u are 25 u're system was in bad shape for a long time,

maybe i takes longer to heal ?

i'm having also still amalgan, maybe that has a lot to do with it..

and another question, if u eat a lot of fisch, like i do, how can u avoid

the metal toxity ? selenium is enough or not ? and what general dose of

selenium is good (for me..amalgan + fisch)

Hi - my son is 16yo and did respond fairly quickly and positively to enzymes.

From his experience with amalgam fillings though, I would probably guess

that if you still have some, that is probably a big part of it.

My son was 7 when he had amalgams put in and he had a horrible 3 years!

Because they were in baby teeth they eventually fell out on their own and

things improved immensely and immediately when that happened. He didn't

improve to the point where he was before the fillings were put in but the

improvement he did experience was huge. Is there any way you could get

your amalgams safely removed? I bet you'd see a big improvement.

you need zinc as well if you eat a lot of fish. but you really should

avoid shark and large sea fish

quality green tea is good for mercury toxicity.

also you need adequate iodine as per the compendium index.

r u sprinkling the enzymes on the food? they are most efficent that

way and not swallowed in capsules.

25 is young and recovery should be reasonably good. having a lot of

fat messes things a bit cause the mercury goes to fat and doesn't

come out easily.

Glad you are sticking around. :)

What the general trend is that 'older people' meaning anyone over 12

can respond just as quickly with enzymes as very young children.

However, they might also respond positively with enzymes but just not

as quickly. There are a couple of teenagers in my area that are doing

well with the Peptizyde/Zyme Prime combination, but it took about 3

months to see significant improvements instead of the usual 3-4 weeks.

But I am a lot older than 25 and I saw improvement in the first week.

So it depends. I know with many other therapies, they say if you

don't do it when the person is young, there isn't much improvement

after elementary school, so at least digestive enzymes do offer

something for the older crowd.

The thing that older people seem to run into that younger people

don't is that older people have developed coping mechanisms for

functioning when they don't feel well. When you start enzymes, the

enzymes may help you improve physically. Then you will need to un-

learn the previous coping mechanisms.

For example, I had managed to get through the days with constant

migraine. when the pain went away, my vision was not actually more

accurate and 'corrected'. But this slight change in vision affected

how I judged distances. So I found I was very slightly over-stepping

steps, over-shooting the distance to pick up a glass, etc. If you

aren't aware of what is going on, this can be a bit disturbing if not

outright frightening. It usually goes away as you adjust to feeling

better. It can be different issues for different people. Some need to

adjust to having more energy, or hearing better, or not having upset

stomach all the time.

I don't know that much about fish...I've never cared for it. Salmon

tastes okay if it is prepared right.
