chapped lips

I just bought a Kiehl's baby lip balm for myself. It was so easy to

slide on, I tried it on my son. He let me, for the first time. And

it really healed his lips quickly. Kiehl's can be kind of hard to

find. I got mine at Blue Mercury, do you have those? I think

Bloomingdales also carries it.

Thanks, I'll check this out too for my daughter.

But since we are looking all into these things, does anyone know what is really

going wrong to create this condition? I believe I had heard it is a sign of

problems with the EFA's. Also many have mentioned having cracked lips I think

at just the introduction phase of enzymes, but believe that typically goes away

after a few weeks.

Re: chapped lips

Here's a link. Sorry I forgot to check if you can buy online.

http://www.kiehls.com/?p=540 & sc=541 & st= & cc=10

If the link doesn't work, go to www.kiehls.com and click on baby

products on the right column. Scroll down to the lip balm.

Kari--What other supps. are you giving? Cracked lips can be a sign of

Vitamin A toxicity and also of iron overload.-Tod

Riboflavin is vitamin B2. When all is in balance, the intestines

good bacteria should produce vitamin B2. It is also plentiful in

dairy, eggs, soy, fresh fruits, fresh veggies, nuts and seeds, so

not surprising that it would be deficient in a restricted diet.

However, this is a problem I am dealing with right now. I can get

it under control with 4 times the recommended dose of my B-Complex,

but I am looking for a better solution.
