Don't know the answer but I use Stevia - it's a south american herb that's 100x's sweeter than sugar so you only use a tiny bit - it comes in powdered and liquid drop form (2-3 drops will sweeten a cup of coffee) - near LAX Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I can't swear it doesn't contribute to yeast at all, but it seems to be a lot less bad than anything else. The thing that helps the most here is to do about a week of no sugar at all.
