Guest guest
Thanks for all your replies, regarding my first post on enzyme. I tried to read some recent posts of the list & it is really a great group! Tons of interesting informations I came across. I'm very glad I joined the group. My child Arvind has yeast infection. My DAN doctor tried to treat my the infection 2 times, with sporonox. Interestingly he hasn't tried " enzymes " at all so far. Surprisingly he hasn't even asked me to cut off the fruits like banana, apple too. Though I asked him specifically recently, he said not to bother. As the yeast level is still elevated, his dr wants to start nystatin+sporonox dosage combination, for which I am not comfortable with. The reason is: the same dr wanted to start with sporonox, during when I asked about nystatin, but he said it won't be efficient for candida. But now he wants to try both. Do you think that makes sense? If I give nophenol for fruits (ex.banana, apple - which are sweet), will it help in controlling the yeast infection too? Any input will be very useful. Thank you so much, Amrutha
Guest guest
I'm pretty new to all of this, but anyone that fails to mention the potentially serious problems fruit will bring on to a yeast overgrowth is missing the fundamental point of how the yeast is fed. Not to mention that bananas are just about the highest sugar offenders. My daughter is not autistic, but has a serious problem with yeast and I can tell you it really can mess up a child's behavior. Almost sounds like with the autistic behaviors to deal with some doctors are treating yeast playing a minor part in it all which just doesn't seem right or fair to the child. Kari Thx!
