Hi Sharon

We did Nystatin BP powder, worked a treat but tastes really yukkido and it

doesn;t dissolve when you try and mix it in fluids :( The pharmacy at

Eastbourne hospital makes up the sugar free dye free Nystatin liquid for Dr

Tettenbourne pateints and others have got it there too.

You could probably find out how to go about it at the AiA site forum

autismmedical.com I think. I can dig out our pot for a manufacturer (they are

few

and far) of the plain powder - let me know.

compounding Pharmacies, please could someone confirm if I'm asking for

the right type of Nystatin.

I think you have the best vits already LOL Back off to just a drop and see

how she goes. We had a rocky ride on implementing BCn but the advice to stop

for a week and go so slowly it seems your not even moving and no problems at

all!

If a body is seriously depleted then getting anything good can send it into

a spin for a while - slowly slowly, getty supps in LOL

We have started Katy on Brain childs Ultra sensitve vitamins and

minerals, slowly as advised, she tolerates the minerals well, but after

taking 2.5mls of the Vitamins she became stressed and started

clenching her teeth and jaw, then later became very spacey again,we

continued for two days to try and make sure it was the vitamins, but

this is the only new thing that was introduced.Does anyone have any

ideas how I should proceed or know of other Vitamin supps that are

likely to be suitable for a very sensitive child.

And you have the best advice too! ;-) Thanks Mandi. I wouldn't add a

thing to what you said.

I don't know much about rx medications, but you are probably safest

asking for what you just described. Most commercial Nystatin [at

least in US] is full of dyes and sugars, but if you just ask for the

plain powder, that is probably best. You can also try giving it with

No-Fenol enzyme, that might help.

My son did not tolerate vitamins until about round 50 of ALA

chelation. And when he did start tolerating them, I had to give ONE

vitamin at a time. He only recently started tolerating multis. So if

you start with just a small amount like was recommended, and she still

has problems, you might need to wait a while, or just introduce one

single vitamin at a time.

Good luck.
