He's got me in a soft cast (they called it an Una Boot) that I am to keep on for a minimum of 10 days.  I can't get it wet so you should see me take a bath with my right leg hanging over the edge of the tub!

, I had the same or similar soft cast summer before last and wound up wearing it for a very long time, or so I remember. My HMO sold me, for $15, a covering that I could wear in the shower. It looks like a giant condom with a gasket at the open end. Sliding it onto the cast is easier if you pull on an old pantyhose leg first. I think a knee-high would be adequate. The covering was well worth the $15. For one thing, one isn't entirely safe with a leg hanging over the edge of the tub, is one?

Great plains except some insurance , and they will send you a form for

consent with the tests you order. The Doc needs to sign it. I would be finding

another one if she feels that way. Our doc does anything we suggest we do pay

them

,and they are doing us a service. Also not having a dx keeps kids from getting

the therapies they need. I would order the test it does not cost to do that,

and then take them to her , and insist she signs if not tell her you want your

childs records that you will find someone that will go along with these

tests. I think the doc thinks they are missing out on money somehow. Good-luck

and

always do whats best for your child forgoet the doc find a new one. I bet she

does not have an autisic child!!!

I ordered the chewable afp pep. Does anyone have any comments on how these

work? I am using a probotic from gnc my daughter actually likes. So I figured

the chewable would be next. Then maybe some buffered vit c. She had tests done

through great plains also. The oat test and the food allergy panel. The most

the test showed was a +2 on cows milk, cheddar cheese, and gluten or wheat one.

So this is not a bad allergy , but she has some mild ones like to coffee,

califlower, and some other things she never gets anyways. I have pretty much

taken

away the milk she never liked it too much anyhow. Except when she was a baby

I put it in bottles all the time not knowing she had allergy to it. I wonder

if thats why she is like she is today sometimes. Should I really follow through

all these enyzmes and things are her allergies bad enough to make a

difference with these things? Any opinions matter Thanks

My boys take them well, I like them cause they are portable, I don't have

to hide them and my boys take them w/o a fight (since they can't swallow

pills yet and detect them in everything I've tried to hide them in thus far)

3 tablets = 1 regular capsul pill or 1/4tsp of the SCD powder unless you

can get them to suck them slowly then they are more potent but if they chew

and swallow right away 3 tablets is what they need for a serving. I give

them 1 if I'm afraid of cross contamination issues (fries at McD's for

example) and 3 if I think they might get into something that contains

gluten or casein (birthday party where I can't keep my eye on them every

second). I haven't been brave enough to try them with a straight

gluten/casein food on purpose. My baby got a cookie from another kid at

Sunday school a couple of weeks ago and didn't get the enzymes till about

20 minutes after he ate it and they did cover the infraction pretty good,

though I think they would have worked better had they been in his system

before hand (hence me now giving them anytime they'll be around gluten

containing food)...
