Hi everyone,

Marcia Zimmerman (author of ADD, The Nutrition Solution) recommends

the Attentive Child Chewables by Source Naturals as a supplement to

multivitamins. I was planning on ordering it to boost up magnesium

but thought I'd run it by you knowledgable folks to see if there's

anything in it to be cautious about:

Per serving (2 wafers):

Magnesium (from magnesium aspartate) 120mg

Zinc (as zinc picolinate) 2mg

L-Aspartate (from magnesium aspartate) 310mg

DMAE (as DMAE bitartate) 100mg

Leci-PS Soybean Extract 50mg

yielding 40% Phosphatidylserine

Phosphatidylcholine 6mg

Phosphatidylethanolamine 3.5mg

Phosphatidylinositol 1.5mg

DHA (docasahexaenoic acid [Neuromins]) 15mg

Grape Seed Extract 15mg

Other ingredients: crystalline fructose, xylitol, stearic acid,

natural peach flavor, citric acid, natural orange flavor, magnesium

stearate, collodial silicon dioxide, and natural chocolate and

cherry flavors.

What say you sage experts?

TIA,

I used these for awhile with my asd son. Can't say as I noticed any change

either way with them. Just a word of warning though - they're huge! I was

expecting a little chewable tablet and was quite surprised to realize just how

big they were, took a little convincing to get my son to try them.

Hi Laurie,

I picked these up yesterday, and you're right...they're huge! My ds

doesn't mind, though. He thinks any chewable is like candy. :-)

How long did you try it?

Blessings,

I think it was about 6 months or so. He finally just refused to take them any

more and because I hadn't seen any real benefit that I could put my finger on I

just dropped them. Didn't see any change after stopping them. All kids are

different though, so they might help your son. Good luck!
