Guest guest
My 25-month old son is on SCD, and we recently removed salicylates from his diet. Removing the salicylates got rid of the eczema that he has had since starting solid food at 5 months, and also got rid of verbal stimming and distractibility. Recently I added no-Fenol at 1/3 capsule per meal, and then Zyme Prime starting at 1/3, and then going up to 1/2 cap per meal. At the same time I also increased his intake of macadamia nut butter. He is now showing a salicylate reaction with eczema, stimming, poor sleep, and distractibility. I am trying to figure out if this is more likely to be a result of the ingredients in the enzymes, or the macadamia nuts, which is listed as a medium salicylate. I hate to remove the macadamia nuts, as they are a staple of his diet. Does anyone know if the papain/bromelain in the zyme prime is a salicylate? Thanks!
