Guest guest
Hi Jessie, Last October, when I began my 3 months of improvement, I started out with one good day out of maybe 7; then 2 good days out of 7; then 3 good days out 7, etc. Just before my relapse, most days were decent...not the whole day, but I was able to do things that I hadn't been able to do for 6 years. I would hate to give anyone false hope, but you may be on the road back to some kind of a normal life. But don't make the mistake I did - don't stop your antibiotics until you've gone 2 to 3 months with NO symptoms. Of course, I also had gallbladder surgery in November, which I'm sure contributed to my relapse, but I don't think it would have been as severe had I continued the abx pulsing that had almost given me back some of my life. Here's hoping it's a good sign for you! Patty > Message: 8 > Date: Wed, 30 Jul 2003 19:17:58 -0000 > From: " Jessie A. Guest guest
Hi Michele, Based upon all that I've learned during the 7 years that I've had Lyme, there is no cure for it and we will always have the Bb bacteria in our bodies. The lucky ones will be able to put the Bb bacteria into a type of " remission " and will show no symptoms, but must always be aware that too much stress or physical " could " trigger symptoms again. Most doctors who are NOT lyme literate, do not believe that the Lyme infection becomes chronic and they believe that after a certain amount of time on abx it is cleared from our bodies. They believe that any symptoms we have after that are post-lyme symptoms caused by some kind of damage that the Lyme infection caused. However, it is my understanding that LLMD's believe that with, or without symptoms, the infection remains in our bodies forever, either active or dormant, because there is, at this time, no cure for Lyme. But even some LLMD's, knowing that we are still infected, will list our Dx as Post-Lyme Syndrome - usually for insurance purposes since LTD, SSDI & health insurance companies will recognize that Dx. As for yeast, have you tried Nystatin and/or Diflucan? Best wishes, Patty > Message: 13 > Date: Wed, 30 Jul 2003 23:48:19 -0400 > From: " Michele Townsend " <mtownsend29@...> > Subject: RE: letter to editor at immunesupport.com > > Dear , > I read this article as I had original dx's of CFS and FM and > wondered what they meant by Post-Lyme? You can do natural yeast killers including CANDEX by Pure Essence Labs, www.pureessencelabs.com , or Standard Process has a protocol of Spanish Black radish, Cal-Amo, Zymex and Lact-Enz. www.standardprocess.com Garden of Life has YEAST DEFENSE, www.gardenoflifeusa.com Acidopholius will NOT kill yeast, it is just the good flora, it is what you put back into the body after abx (antibiotics) kill off the good and bad bacteria). Other yeast killers include: Kyolic garlic grapefruit extract capryllic acid oil of oregano Olive leaf extract (get 17-23% pure) oil of lemon If you would like more info or personal information for your individual self, please contact me @ suemassie45@.... As to dicipline--I get great help from tape cassettes by Becky Baily. She has a great book called " Easy to love and hard to Discipline " . Her tape cassettes are even more help especially if finding time to read is hard. Good luck. Laurie
Guest guest
Kristi -- I had to laugh out loud at your response to your husband. I know that there are dads out there who can show compassion, patience and empathy when their kids' behaviors reflect issues beyond their innate control. A neighbor of mine has triplets, one with Down's Synd., and I have never known the father to show impatience with her, even when all three of them were in diapers :-) But on the whole, I think that it's a guy-response to want a quick fix for a problem. Maybe moms tend to be more understanding because we spent most of 9 months registering every little " baby step " before birth? I can handle the more mundane aspects of marriage, but lack of understanding from another adult -- especially my son's father/my husband -- really gets my adrenalin going! Jane B. Jane B. His father has a heart problem, so I told him to just go beat his dad and his heart would be better. Luckily my family (mother and sister) understand and deal with it with no problems. Guest guest
Bill, Summerfest is a mile from the hotel, but there is a shuttle from the hotel to Summerfest. Sincerely, , Is the festival within scooter distance of the hotel? As a Pacific Northwesterner, it is almost a requirement to see Pearl Jam at least once in your lifetime. :-) Bill On 4/26/06, Karpfinger <tootall@...> wrote: > > Just to add a bit to 's post regarding Summerfest in Milwaukee. Guest guest
Drink your fluids today. If you can do a handstand or get on an inversion table that will help. And the teabag trick wikk reduce eye swelling: place warm used black or green tea bags over eyes. Oh and a simple clay mask should help. wrote:
