Guest guest
Hi, I am new to this and have a 4 year old son with PDDNOS. At least that what some think. He has been called many things. He is making great progress and taking enzymes with everything he eats. I not get a lot of calcium and I was wondering if anyone has used Night Cal and if so have you seen any side effects? I would like to state giving it to him. So any info would be great. Thanks, Al.
Guest guest
We have used nightcal for a long time. Because has a real problem (never worked this one out!) between calcium and magnesium we have to give much more than the usual dose. We have never had problems of any kind with nightcal, only much better sleeping and the teeth grinding which had always been a HUGE problem went away with the larger dosing. I would definately recommend it as a calcium supplement.
Guest guest
Thanks so much. I will start tonight. He is a little guy only 32 pounds so I will start of slow and work my way up. How did you know that magnesium also needed to be added? It is funny you mentioned teeth grinding does do that and I am always giving him gum or a chew tube. Maybe this will help. Thanks again. Guest guest
The nightcal already has magnesium in it. For us this works well with the other minerals we give him from Brainchild. We find that he has to have far more calcium than magnesium. It is not that I think he doesn't need more magnesium in his system it is just that he doesn't seem able to take it. More than the normal dose and he starts grinding again!
