Dana,

Thanks for this info.

I stopped the probiotic...my throat feels better, but I am still very

stuffed up (in my sinuses and chest). I am still taking extra AFP. I also

stopped the GSE. I am confused as to how one knows if it is a bacteria or

yeast problem, and how to treat it. My stomach feels 'sick' and I have had

loose stools, plus flatuance. My son has the same symptoms, but he only had

one dose of 2 drops of GSE, and one Culturelle two days later. Maybe I

should just wait and see what happens, just take the enzymes with meals.

This can be intolerance to the probiotic, or viral die off from the AFP.

Try removing the probiotic, see if that helps.

You can try taking OLE or echinacea, that would help if it is a cold.

The yeast my son gets from viral die off requires GSE, caprylic acid,

and uva ursi, so it also might be a strain that requires more than

just GSE.

Ok, I read more info on die off reactions, and I think that is what

we are having. But, I don't know to what. I probably have a virus

somewhere (I get coldsores sometimes), and I am not sure about my

son. I think we will take a break, and once we feel better I'll

start with the probiotics but less often. Is that the usual

recommendation?

I would take a break. Sometimes, what happens during the break will

give you info on what was happening.
