Ethan had his first ear infections at age 7 and we used the

homeopathic ear drops from the store (BHI brand I think) and also got

mullein oil w/garlic eardrops, too. The combination of both of

those, plus some heat pads on the ear, and ibuprofen on the first

night to help him sleep, really took care of it.

Good luck!

Homeopathic ear tablets work if the correct remedy is

part of the mix (you won't know until you try it). Otherwise,

find a homeopath. Also, warm olive oil in the ear works.

I have read good reports with garlic/mullein oil from local health

food stores.

For many kids, yes. Altho my son still needed milk removed, even with

enzymes, or he would get major ear wax. I still limit his milk

drastically. I only use it for cooking, butter, etc.

Systemic bacteria issues can cause both.

Overdoing yeast-killers can cause both.

I'd say her flora is out of whack and the antibiotics clear out the

infection and everything else, and the bad stuff is just growing back

faster. We use garlic mullein drops ( contain a small amount of olive oil

also) and this has kept us from the antibiotics for quite some time. The

last severe infection was following a course of Nizoral which set us up for

the same thing you are experiencing. I'd recommend some heavy dosing of a

good probiotic or two. The drops go in the ear at the first sign of a

problem. Do it for two or three days, and stuff a little cotton in for the

first 10 minutes. After our pediatrician saw how it worked, she told me to

lay ph down, pull out his ear to create a funnel, administer the drops

and then rub the cheek area up by the ear to massage it in.

Supplements like ambrotose conntain it. you can get it in pure powdered

form from thorne research or

food science at. www.webvitamins.com. You may be able to find it locally.

I found Nature's Plus Herbal Actives ARA-LARIX olive leaf complex containing

500 mg pure arabinogalactan and 250 mg oplive leaf in an extended release

tablet. This has worked well for Mike, but it would be best suited for

someone who could swallow large pills.

As far as the ear infections go - the first peice of advice is NO

MILK at all in any form - check all products for caesins and whey.

The nice thing about Ambrotose Complex is that it also contains the

other 7 sugars that help the bodies cells to communicate and heal

itself. These sugars are the way cells communicate (of the last 8

nobel prizes 4 have been awarded in cell to cell communication) you

can see a great deal of the validation at www.glycoinformation.com

and the science of it at www.glycoscience.com.

You can purchase it at www.mannapages.com/bfree2 as well.

I am very excited about how this works for my son, as well as many

other people I know - some examples are asthma, severe arthritis,

conjunctivites, general well being - but my sons progress is the

most exciting!
