This sounds alot like Obsessive Compulsive behavior. According to

my son's neurologist, OCD and ADD/ADHD are both part of the autistic

spectrum, they're just on opposite ends. OCD (my son, husband and I

are all a bit this way) is a seratonin-seeking behavior, whereas ADD

is a dopamine-seeking behavior.

Hope this helps,

Paris

Actually, my daughter does that every so often too...especially when its the

full moon...its like a ritualistic behavior....and then it'll disappear.

My daughter picks up on odd behaviors (I call them OCD tendancies)

once in a while as well. Right now it is touching each person on

each page in every book we read. I usually ignore it because it goes

away on its own in her. She's picked up a lot of different ones the

last couple days and I'm sure it's something to do with not having

her enzymes. I'm sure there's something underlying it all.

Best wishes

Becky

This can be OCD behavior, which is commonly associated with viral issues.
