This sounds alot like Obsessive Compulsive behavior. According to my son's neurologist, OCD and ADD/ADHD are both part of the autistic spectrum, they're just on opposite ends. OCD (my son, husband and I are all a bit this way) is a seratonin-seeking behavior, whereas ADD is a dopamine-seeking behavior. Hope this helps, Paris
Guest guest
Actually, my daughter does that every so often too...especially when its the full moon...its like a ritualistic behavior....and then it'll disappear. Guest guest
My daughter picks up on odd behaviors (I call them OCD tendancies) once in a while as well. Right now it is touching each person on each page in every book we read. I usually ignore it because it goes away on its own in her. She's picked up a lot of different ones the last couple days and I'm sure it's something to do with not having her enzymes. I'm sure there's something underlying it all. Best wishes Becky > My son has this weird thing that pops up every now and then, and I > can't seem to put a finger on where it's coming from . . . > > If he walks too close to a door frame, person, object, and > accidentally brushes his arm, hand, finger, foot, body part on it, > he goes back and reinacts the touch two or three times and then goes > on about his business. This can be OCD behavior, which is commonly associated with viral issues. Dana
