Is this adjusting to enzymes or not tolerating enzymes?

I have had my son on the regular Peptizyde and regular ZP for 6

months, maybe longer. When we first started the enzymes he didn't

have an negative behavior. I started slow and worked my way up. I

don't have him on any special diet. He is such a limited eater that

I fear he would literally starve.

I started him on the enzymes because he is such a picky/limited

eater and I thought these would help him to eat more foods. But he

hasn't tried any new foods, nothing has changed.

So last week I started him on the SCD versions of ZP and AFP pep. I

open the capsules and mix with water and squirt it into his mouth at

the beginning of the meal. At the end of the meal he's been crying

like he is in pain. He's verbal but can't express what he is

feeling so I don't know if the enzymes aren't agreeing with him or

if this is the " withdrawal " that so many kids seem to go through

when starting enzymes. Like I mentioned earlier, he didn't have

this reaction to the " regular " zp and pep.

If anyone has any insight, I would be so grateful.

I would reduce the dose and continue to give them. It does sound like

" adjustment " to me.
