Guest guest
bismuth is chemically similar to mercury and bismuth from stomach medications is a major issue in some of the hair tests i have seen posted. it is solid at troom temperature and not well absorbed but would have i imagine the same sort of sulphur metabolism disrupting effects mercury has. its supposed low toxicity is only due to its poor absorbtion but with a leaky gut its absorbtion may be quite high and there is evidence for busmith induced dementia in a similar way to mercury though more reversable. http://www.alzheimerscorp.com/article5.htm > child. I wouldn't use it except if a Dr. said it was okay. HAving said that > here goes: > 2 tabs pepto bismol 4x per day NOT TO EXCEED TWO MONTHS. Guest guest
My daughter scored very high on bismuth. She's never taken any medicine with it and frankly I can't really find a possibility of the source. One think I see from this article is that it does show signs which mimic Alzheimer's, and that is exactly one of my daughter's problems. It's like a fog up there and she just often can't pull out the right word. In the article it speaks of being able to reverse the effects with treatment but doesn't go into much detail other than to mention I presume a drug called Tacrine. Does anyone know of this? And/or is there a chance this is just one of those many drug sponsored stories? Thanks, Kari jean bismuth pepto bismol bismuth is chemically similar to mercury and bismuth from stomach medications is a major issue in some of the hair tests i have seen posted. it is solid at troom temperature and not well absorbed but would have i imagine the same sort of sulphur metabolism disrupting effects mercury has. its supposed low toxicity is only due to its poor absorbtion but with a leaky gut its absorbtion may be quite high and there is evidence for busmith induced dementia in a similar way to mercury though more reversable. http://www.alzheimerscorp.com/article5.htm > child. Guest guest
it sounds like she is not excreting heavy metals though the liver bile and out. > My daughter scored very high on bismuth. Guest guest
I would e-mail the authors of the article and ask for information. Believe me, I am not thrilled with using any metal, but I am determined to break the unholy alliance between the gut bugs and the toxins so my son can have a life. Dr. Braught from Reality Health is sending me a nanocolloidal form of bismuth that will be peed out if there is any excess, so we will switch to that as soon as it arrives. This brain fog may very well be a build-up of ammonia or lactic acid, or it could be one of these nasty viruses. There has to be a way to get her body to start excreting these toxins. Do you have access to a GOOD homeopath? Someone other people with kids like ours trust? She probably needs something to get her lymphatic system going. I have found Ojibwa tea to be the best thing going for very toxic kids, but in her case I would start with a tiny amount 1/2 teaspoon 1-2 times per day) i know kids who have peed out a ton of metals using it, plus it heals the gut and the liver. We would never have gottten all of this stuff out o f Mike without it. jean bismuth pepto bismol > > > > > bismuth is chemically similar to mercury and bismuth from stomach > medications is a major issue in some of the hair tests i have seen > posted. > > it is solid at troom temperature and not well absorbed but would have > i imagine the same sort of sulphur metabolism disrupting effects > mercury has. > > its supposed low toxicity is only due to its poor absorbtion but with > a leaky gut its absorbtion may be quite high and there is evidence > for busmith induced dementia in a similar way to mercury though more > reversable. > > http://www.alzheimerscorp.com/article5.htm > > > > > > > > child. Guest guest
Hi Maybe I'll try the tea. Do you just seep in in a few ounces of water? Do you add anything too it? I'm thinking maybe if I add stevia and lemon I can get my 8 yr old daughter to take it. The tough part is trying to determine what specifically is linked to her brain fog. She does have total yeast issues which I know are systemic, and all I've seen say that alone could be responsible. 6 months into radical dietary changes and supplements I am starting to see little signs of gut improvements. However I also can tell from reading many posts that yeast " for different people can mean totally different things neurologically related. Now realizing my 3 yr old son has it, I will say he is the opposite of brain fog. So when I see things like her hair test be off the charts on bismuth I can't help but wonder if there is something else going on creating this fog. She is NT and with intensive, painful homework sections is keeping up with her grade. (Must add a personality as sweet as an angel.) However will say things like, " red, white, and oh...um... (giggle) what's that other one? " Also expresses it feels like zigzag racing through her brain. Brings a new and lovely meaning to the term air head Kari She probably needs something to get her lymphatic system going.
