Guest guest
My son is one of the munchkins that didn't do well on cellulose version of enzymes. My son has a severe viral issue, as well as a bacteria and yeast issue, plus his gut is by definition impaired as he is completely IgA deficient. The problem for us was multi-fold, so I will share and perhaps this may help. We discovered my son needed the papain and bromelain in the Zyme Prime as that helped with the viral and bacterial issues. He was basically getting a " natural " anti bacterial and anti viral treatment several times a day, and it was gentle and consistent, via the Rice version of Zyme Prime. Not so with the cellulose version. Also, cellulose can cause bacteria issues to be amped up, if it is a certain type of bacteria, this was the case for my son. Devin brilliantly added a small wee amount of MCT oil to combat this possible issue, but low and behold my son was getting a mega dose of this in the evening as part of another separate supplement. So, this evening supplement, it is an evening supplement because it can cause drowsiness for kids with this particular bacteria/viral issue. And wouldn't you know it, my son was falling asleep at the dining room table before he could finish his meals when taking the cellulose version of enzymes, he was lethargic all day, his verbal ability went down the tube, he regressed and his cheeks looked like they had been burned, they were so bumpy and red and his ears would turn red no matter what we fed him after only a few bites of food. Soooo, needless to say we were alarmed and I bought about a 1000 units of the original rice version of Zyme Prime from Devin and was extremely happy when a month or so later he decided to carry both versions. Now, here's the thing. We've been rotating GSE, OoO and OLE for months, after doing the cellulose version for a month, and then returning to the rice version, we went a whole month without needing the GSE OoO, OLE rotation. School is out, and I was going to reintroduce the cellulose versions at bedtime when he gets his bedtime supplements, but we have this trip to Virginia to see this Doctor and I'd like him to handle the airline trip without discomfort, so I'm holding off till we get back. Guest guest
paxil is a fluorinated med (contains a fluoride atom) and these meds seem more destructive than most. also given the similarites between gut and brain chemistry is will be interfering with digestion in some way. http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic/parox.htm you need a hair test the challenge could have made things worse by mobilising mercury which is the whole isue with chelation. if he reacted badly to the cellulose fillers then you have achronically bad fermenting type stomach/intestine flora and will need to look at a modifyed scd super nu thera will be causing issues the body needs its copper metabolism working properly to kill viruses, copper goes into enzymes that directly disrupt viral rna transcription source naturals copper sebacate is good for this but you may need zinc and molybdenum first. written up in the 'minerals i take' page in the index of http://mueller_ranges.tripod.com/links/compendium/compendium.html capryllic acid being anti viral may promote yeast and bacteria issues you should switch back to rice bran attempting to improve antiviral function without understanding copper is whistling in the dark which seems to be the case on the anti viral stuff on this board. > My son is 7 3/4 yrs old and has AS/HFA. Mercury tends to be the last metal to come out. Was he excreting any OTHER metals? You can pursue other methods. Many people recommend the hair test. I have info here http://www.danasview.net/chelate.htm Dana
