Guest guest
It really never went away. It's in so many foods as to be astonishing. [ ] MSG is back My mom was doing some research and found that MSG has been renamed and brought back. I have her now looking into the 'new name'. Remember the stuff in chinese food and " Accent " food additive that was brought to attention how bad it is for you? Has anyone else heard about this too? =======================================================
Guest guest
It's always been around. They've just changed it to 20+ different names. I've posted some information in my family blog: http://www.ericsons.net/97/msg---its-other-names http://www.ericsons.net/130/msg--aspartame---excitotoxins http://www.ericsons.net/145/dirty-secrets---food-processing-industry http://www.ericsons.net/199/possible-answer-to-hallucinations--head-banging MSG, along with Essential Fatty Acids (totally perverted in corn, soy, canola oils as well as many other supposedly healthy oils), and staying away from grain-fed meats, are the primary reasons we cook everything from " scratch " , using no canned, bottled, processed foods and follow the Nourishing Traditions style of cooking by Sally Fallon. Guest guest
Sharon, I had no idea you had a blog. I have sometimes given folks links to posts of yours on this list concerning food issues. May I respectfully suggest that you consider putting a link to your blog in your signature block? -- Michele in Limbo (formerly in California) talithamichele@... Guest guest
I know it never left canned soups! Many canned foods I looked at such as spaghettio's and soups, canned broth etc, all have Monosodium Glutamate. I wouldn' t doubt it is back in the chinese food. The only soup I found that did not have it was Campell's Tomato. > > My mom was doing some research and found that MSG has been renamed and > brought back. I have her now looking into the 'new name'.
