Guest guest
Pink eye hit our area (So. Cal) in December. We were told that the only way to get rid of it is antibiotic eye drops. Maybe it will eventually go by itself (like in a few months?). Don't think it's related to ear infections but sometimes multiple things hit sequentially when the immune system is run down. Guest guest
We use a combination of chamomile, eyebright and goldenseal tea. Some patients only use the chamomile. Remember it is contagious. On Wed, Oct 27, 2010 at 10:53 AM, J & T Real <jtreal@...> wrote: > > > Best home remedies for pink eye? Any suggestions? Guest guest
I know it sounds gross but we used breast milk drop in the eye 3 times a day for 3 days and it disappeared! There is an article/study thats showed that it worked better and faster than antibiotics. Worked on my sister too who got in high school. > > Best home remedies for pink eye? Any suggestions? Guest guest
I had it as an adult, doctor said I could do nothing, and that is what I choose. Was gone in a couple days, was not that big of a deal. Tammy [ ] Re: ot: pink eye I know it sounds gross but we used breast milk drop in the eye 3 times a day for 3 days and it disappeared! Guest guest
Actually, breast milk works wonderfully when available. Been using it for almost 30 years in the practice. Guest guest
Lucky that I am actually lactating then eh? Worth a shot. I also have chamomile tea and will try that as well.
