Guest guest
Place him in bathtub, sitting, with water level just enough to cover his legs. Water temperature just a few degrees cooler than you would use for bathing. Scoop water out of the tub with a cup or bowl, and pour it over his neck and shoulders. Ten minutes or less should reduce temperature by several degrees. Ibuprofen generally will keep fever at bay for close to six hours if dose is adequate (10 mg/kg), is more effective than acetaminophen. We have had it since last two days(the night he vomited 5 times). Since then he has neither vomited nor had diarrhoea. The only problem is the fever which keeps going up (today it was about 105). I don't want to keep him on ibuprofen/tylenol. Any other herbal or homeopathic remedy would be appreciated. -Kajuk PS: Took him to the doctor who said it's viral and just keep him hydrated and use tylenol for fever. __________________________________________________

So long as he is no longer vomiting, try giving Virastop enzyme, and Motrin if required. Plus the cool bath. Dana
