Well, don't know what got rid of them here, dmsa or ala or dmps, but they left,

we had intermittent monoclonic jerks. They were slight, dd didn't even notice

them until we were looking at old videos of my dgd, but, bottom line, they are

gone.

They are not permanent brain damage, but symptomatic of heavy metal poisoning,

once the metals leave, so do they.

[ ] Neurological twitches...will they go away with

chelation????

The spazzy little neurological things like fist clenching, teeth

grinding, jerky movements, restlessness...can getting heavy metals out

really make these go away? They seem like they are " permanent damage "

stuff that was done to his brain....do these things only go away with

ALA because it crosses that blood brain barrier? Did TD-DMPS, on my

way to TD-DMSA...any suggestions? I just want him to calm down...HELP!

So far, our one neuro " total body clench " has not disappeared.

We've only been chelating for about 7 months total; 2 with ALA. My

son tightens his entire body and quivers when he is extremely

anxious or excited.

At one point, he would make fists, bend his arms in front of his

face and tighten his arms to strongly they'd shake. That is gone.

Interestingly, that appeared during a week last summer where we took

a supplement holiday. It went away after being back on supps for a

week. Not sure what that was all about.

I hope this goes away. Like you, I worry about the permanence of

things. Our neuro tics developed well after the dx of Autism was

given.

Have you had an EEG done? Many mercury poisoned children suffer from low-level

seizure activity.

These are signs the nervous system is short circuiting due to heavy

metal toxicity. One parent had been on TD-DMSA for 18 months but her 5

yr old still grind his teeth. Within two weeks on NCD Zeolite, this

disappeared. This is described in one of the recordings at

www.zeoliteautismstudy.com <http://www.zeoliteautismstudy.com>

That's interesting. Do you think this person should forego having an EEG done

based on your son's negative results?

I had to get rid of my projection screen tv because my body would become so

tight. LCD screens dont cause me to have that problem. You might want to

see what it does to him both around the tv and not around the tv.

For my kids, teeth grinding is improper zinc/copper ratio. Most kids

need zinc, so try adding that and see if it helps.

Also for my kids, chelation did not do as much as for other kids.

Basically, it removed food and supplement intolerances, and gut-yeast.

All the other improvements were caused by the addition of supplements

once they were tolerated. But the chelation allowed them to be

tolerated, so it was essential.
