I had symptoms similar to this about two years ago. The doctor suspected I had SARS, altho I had no overseas exposures. I was given anti-biotics, which did not help at all. About a week later, I correctly self-diagnosed my problem as red dye #40 without No-Fenol enzyme. Are there any new foods/supplements/medications? Guest guest
Please read about parapertussis. It is a pertussis variant. Same symptoms, less duration, less severe. My son had this and it seemd just as horrible crystal " Debi H. " <fightingautism@...> wrote: I took Dinah to doc last week, he didn't mention anything about pertussis. I really think that's what she has, 1) because she's completely unimmunized and 2) she has all the classic symptoms. She began with a cough, went on for about a week with a mild fever on day 2, otherwise seemed to feel fine except for mild nasal congestion. Around day 6 her coughing spells got more clustered, where she turns red & can't seem to get her breath, does a whooping sound somtimes, worse at night and morning time. It's now day 10 and the episodes seem to be decreasing slightly, but the intensity of the episodes seem stronger. It almost seems that she's at a combo of stage 2 & 3 of pertussis. Anyone have any thoughts as to if this is pertussis and how much longer before she'll significantly decrease? I'm giving her some supps to help speed her healing. I'm considering calling back doc and telling them this has to be it, video taping her, if nothing else to get her chart notated as having had it to prevent the push for future vaccines. BTW, she's 3 yrs, 3 mos. TIA, Debi 's Little Sister ISBN 1-4137-1724-1 www.debityree.com Some have said the autism pandemic is because of better reporting. Let's all thank God California's 2 year autism decline must mean that they are back to incompetent reporting. Forget that autism increases every time a new vaccine is added to infant vaccines and now that thimerosal is decreased autism is decreasing. =======================================================
Guest guest
Nope, no foods/supps/meds. I have been giving her some vit E, both days I gave it to her seemed to lessen her symptoms but they're still there. We were also given the antibiotic scrip <sigh> Thanks, Debi > I had symptoms similar to this about two years ago. The doctor > suspected I had SARS, altho I had no overseas exposures.
