Rena:

Some, mostly people who are doing Ala, find their particular child does better

with even more frequent dosing than the 3 hours.

And others, who were completely paranoid about redistribution give the chelators

more frequently (that would be me, in the beginning).

The majority of kids do just fine with dmsa every four hours and ala every 3.

If you give on this schedule and are finding chelation is a little rough on them

(they are irritable) some give more often.

[ ] anti-fungals and chelating

Any advice in giving anti-fungals, i.e. gse, OoO, caprylic, etc. while

chelating every 2 hours. Will the anti-fungals render the chelators

useless?

, one more thing . Are you saying that if I dont give the dose of

dmsa every 4 hours on the dot, then I should quit the whole thing for that

weekend? Do you think I should space out his vitamins and minerals before I

give the dmsa? Thanks again, Rena

Rena, I see Valentina has answered your question. You might want to get the

vits/minerals started the week before you start the dmsa, unless you know that

he is particularly low in something, like zinc, and then I would give it a

couple of weeks.

Good luck,

Rena,

In the Files section you will find a file called " supplements " . At

the end of it are Andy's recommendations for supplementing for

chelation. You would need to compare what you give to what he

recommends. Most of the recommendations are based on body weight.

You must also supp many of them 3 or 4 times a day (the water

solubles and the minerals).

Andy's recommendations don't include an antifungal routine. This is

something that you'll want to have ready before you start chelation

in case you run into yeast problems bigger than you're used to.

I hope this helps.

d-alpha is the natural form of Vitamin E, Rena. Read the back of the bottle and

make sure it is not dl-alpha, which is the synthetic form of E.

We get our Vitamin E from Nutrition Headquarters or Life Extension at

www.lef.org

I always buy supplements from one of the large companies who have a lot to lose

if their, say melatonin does not contain any melatonin, for example.
