It's the antibiotics that I think cause the problems AFTER the mercury exposure, then comes the yeast and with 25 ft. of intestines...it's a hard problem to resolve. I hate the drastic diet changes but I will try the Spec Carb diet for a month and see if that alleviates some of the yeast die off and then I may switch to just a GFCF diet (which sounds like heaven right now)...it depends on how well he is doing. Yeast is such an awfully hard thing to get rid of....I just want a permanent solution...QUICKLY!!!! I cant believe that giving Nystatin with the antibiotics would of resolved all of this...that should be an automatic for the pediatrician! > > This is an interesting; I have been wondering the same thing.
