Guest guest
I'm trying to find an alternative anti-fungal, antibacterial, anti-viral, etc. to alternate with grapefruit seed extract. We've already tried Biocidin and have a jar of lauricidin in the cupboard but I don't think my son will tolerate it. I was looking on the Beyond A Century website and they have listed under their " new " products from NutriMedix, Cumanda extract. I wondered if anybody else has heard of or tried it. The product description says: Cumanda® Extract by Nutramedix®, from the bark of the Campsiandra angustifolia tree found in the Amazon basin. This full spectrum extract, which crosses the blood/brain barrier within two minutes, has been used by indigenous groups for hundreds of years for its antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, antiparasitic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and immune regulatory properties. Used with Samento® and Burbur® for a Lyme disease protocol by Wm. Lee Cowden, MD (Google " lyme protocol cumanda " ). With no known side effects, may be beneficial for difficult bacteria, fungi, and viruses. Supplement facts: serving size: 10 drops; servings per container: 60; amount per serving: Cumanda bark extract (campsiandra angustifolia) 0.50 ml. Other ingredients: mineral water, ethanol (20-25%). 1 oz., 60 servings, $36.00 Code 889.
Guest guest
greetings, my doc recommended the cumanda, but i've been hesitant to use it so far. i've done some more research and i discovered that the cumanda for lyme protocol is by dr. cowden from dallas tx. http://www.bionatus.com/nutramedix/moreinfo_eng/Lymeprotocolkinesiology3.htm his research was funded by the nutramedix company, which makes the cumanda that he recommends. synchronistically, the universe sent me another piece of info. a man i don't know who has chronic lyme phoned me because he'd heard from someone that i have lyme too. he lives in dallas and has seen cowden and taken cumanda. he said his liver was fine when he started. but after only 2 drops of cumanda a day, he had severe liver problems and seems he is still dealing with some of the repercussions. he says it's a very strong herb and to be very careful, go very slow. the nutramedix-funded research on toxicology says cumanda is " practically innocuous for humans when administered in the acute form. Therefore studies of acute toxicity at higher doses in humans are not necessary. " http://www.bionatus.com/nutramedix/moreinfo_eng/Cumatoxicitysum.htm so what to believe?? so, i don't know what to make of this info. yesterday i had appointment with the doc who prescribed the cumanda for me back in october. he again encouraged me to try it. i did just today order one bottle of cumanda. fyi, the best prices on nutramedix that i've found so far is from http://www.myherbs.net/ may gratitude and wonder nourish our journey, breath by breath and step by step, kendra
