That is awesome. Sounds like he is doing great. After reading this I have to

share a story too. We have been on NV for about a month now and Ethan is doing

some pretty amazing stuff! His speech has improved 100 fold and he is so much

more playful and quicker to respond(and I mean very witty lol.) This weekend

though I got the best birthday present EVER! We had a party for my husband and

I (our birthdays are 2 days apart) and there was kereoke - E got up in front of

40 people and sang Bohemian Rhapsody - sang all the words and hit all the notes

on key! He was dancing around and loving it! He was the life of the party -

people were floored at how good he was! He has always been shy - so it was

really shocking when he just went up and grabbed the microphone and asked his

dad to hit him with some Queen. Everyone was cheering him on. It made my heart

melt. People at school have made comments about how well he is doing! Thank

you so much for sharing this supplement. He is doing more and more amazing

things everyday - and we are so grateful to have a network of people like you to

give tips and ideas for natural ways to move E ahead - because he is a brilliant

little boy who never gives up. He is always willing to try new stuff even if

its hard, and that makes me so proud. After only one month we have mastered

learning skills he has worked on for over a year (telling time, writing his

name, drawing pictures) it is AMAZING~ Bless you for being such a great mom and

caring person! Humphreys. Ethan's mom (8 years

old). Illinois

[ ] New meaning of a stomach bug :)

Today was Tanner's first day of 8th grade in a brand new school. He's all ready

for it of course, all new school supplies (which I gave him the list and let him

pick out himself) New haircut, clothes- all set.

Tanner read more than the five books required to be part of the special back to

school pizza party -so all set there too. He can't wait to meet all the new

kids at this new school. (very sad story -his other school that we loved had to

close due to the economy)

So we're driving to Tanner's new school and Tanner says to me " Mom I have a

problem I need help from you in how to get rid of it " So I said " What's the

problem? " And he said " How do I get rid of the bugs in my stomach when it's the

first day of school? " He immediately corrected himself and said " I mean

butterflies " but it was sooooo cute!!

I reminded him that his new teacher that we just met on " meet the teachers "

night reminded both of us of his first grade teacher who is his favorite teacher

of all time. I also told him that I would be nervous on my first day of school

too in a new school -I don't know who wouldn't be. So I don't know if there is

a way to get rid of stomach bugs (and I giggled)

Anyway as we were talking back and forth it once again amazed me how improved

his conversation skills were and I told him that I highly doubt anyone is even

going to notice he ever had apraxia. So Tanner said " Do you think they are

going to make me read outloud to the class because that's when I get bumpy " (he

does when he's nervous) So I said to him " You can't go by what you used to do

because you've had such dramatic surges since being on NV. It's a whole new

world for you in a brand new school- and based on how you are doing you may just

shock yourself in that you can read outloud now and not be bumpy!

We'll see -I won't be shocked if he can...and he's doing so well it doesn't

matter if he can't :)

Happy back to school to all!

Well in my book Ethan's nickname now is E-mazing!!!! I love the song Bohemian

Rhapsody

but OMG that's hard even for

an adult to sing (but super fun song to sing for sure!!!) See and music is one

of the areas of surge I too noticed in Tanner that like you is being noticed in

others -must be a right brain creative thing? You know I do have the increase

in the sense of humor (and that includes not sure if you noticed this but

abstract humor which our kids can be lacking in) but thought I also had the

increased interest in music up here http://pursuitofresearch.org/pursuit.html

but don't! I have to add that. I am so thrilled to hear your update

because I've been following Ethan's story for years through the blog you had for

him. This is just amazing -I mean fish oils of course I'm still and will always

be forever grateful for -but NV is just so many areas and such dramatic surges

beyond -have you found the same? Like you saw catch up and beyond on academics

and things you may have been working on for over a year in just days or weeks-

it's hard to believe even when it's in front of you. Sometimes like I said it's

like Tanner's a different Tanner- as if...I know I said this before -like the

apraxia is reversing rather than the therapy type of surge? Do you see that?

First day of school was rated by Tanner a 90 percent out of 100 (probably took

off 10 percent for getting homework on the first day of the new school) he's

made new friends already and said he's no longer nervous about the new school so

no more bugs ha! So I'm actually kind of shocked that Tanner's got the homework

he does on day one - on his computer with his books open and is writing some

sort of report...I asked him if he needed any help and he said " no " and I said

" why I want you to get to bed! " and he said " because I can do this myself " Ahhh

nutriiveda you have changed my son so much that his own mother doesn't recognize

him! I mean it's one thing to do homework himself -but NOW he no longer even

WANTS any help even when offered! It's a happy happy happy day for me!!!

I absolutely agree - NV is helping him in ways that therapy has not been able to

over the past 6 years! We didn't get the video of Bohemian Rhapsody but my

friend did get a clip of him singing Another One Bites the Dust - he doesn't

know all the words to it but he did the chorus really well. Here is the link to

see it - I posted it on my facebook for family to see:

- sorry for all the background noise but it was party :) He loved it - we had

it out at a cabin - he was in heaven between the outdoors and music. I will be

sure to send you more updates. I just can't believe how much he doing in such a

short amount of time! There are no words for how grateful we are.

When I hear how well Tanner is doing - it gives me such high hopes. It just

goes to show that there is an abundance of light at the end of the tunnel!

Thank you again.

As the parent of a younger child I just want to thank you for bringing me so

much hope for my son's future. I try not to compare my son to others but

sometimes it's hard to go anywhere and be around children that are talking and

playing with each other when my son doesn't do either. Today we were at a

playground and while the other children were playing with each other, without me

guiding him my son won't even play. Without me there he will stand off to the

side and that fills me with sadness. But when I read updates about your

children I realize that there is more I can do for him then just the intensive

therapy we get for him now. I love that you say there is an abundance of light

at the end of the tunnel! I pray for that and I thank you!

I just have to say Congrats in the surges Ethan has been making! If you have any

questions about the changes my clients have been making who have been taking NV,

you forgot to put the link to your page :) Would love to hear him sing

Another One Bites the Dust! Oh I agree the fish oils and NV create an

acceleration to any therapy. The brain responds to multiple stimuli- but what

I'm curious about is the difference in surge you are noticing between the surges

with fish oils and those with NV because again while fish oils we'll always use

because in addition to them being essential and helpful as well -heart disease

runs in my family and my husband's as well, the multiple areas of dramatic and

rapid surges from NV is not like anything I've seen prior. And to know it's not

just Tanner- I mean we are on to something and other parents need to know.

PS speaking of which as I know what a great blogger you are -would you want to

write up something with the video we can perhaps put up or link to from

http://pursuitofresearch.org/testimonials.html Do you still have your blog? I

couldn't find it.

Again -CONGRATULATIONS!!! (to both our boys and others like them now!)
