ALA vs AA

Hello

ALA (alpha-linolenic acid) is the omega-3 found in plant foods, such

as flax seed and brewers yeast.

AA (arachidonic acid) is an omega-6 fat found in animal foods, such as

beef, pork.

AA is a 'pro-inflammatory' fatty acid. EPA from fish oil is an 'anti-

inflammatory' fatty acid. We need both in our body. In today's food

supply, we get alot of AA and not enough EPA - another reason why

omega-3 fish oil is so valuable (for adults, too!).
