I am a HUGE fan of Phosphaline by XYMOGEN. It is pure phosphadityl choline.

This is the right fat for the brain. You can get it at

www.myvillagegreen.com Village Green Apothacary. I give Charlie 1 tsp a day.

And let me tell you, the complex language took right off. It is amazing

stuff.

http://www.diet-and-health.net/Supplements/PhosphatidylCholine.html

We have been on it for a year. We just added Piracetam to it and many times

I find my self crying because on this stuff, this is how my child should

have been all along. He is saying amazying things like " I must have patience

to get my car up the hill. " " Mom, are the coconuts ripe? " " I would like a

coconut lollipop. "

His PT kicked him right out and said he does not need it anymore. He is

above and beyond and speech and working on " S. " OT, we still have a bit to

work on with the Sensory Stuff - about 6 months behind.

But what a ways we have come in the last year when he was saying on Sept 29,

2007:

* Uh OH (just like it should sound!), purple, blue, SSH, ninh for In,

my daddy, cookie, choo choo, bubble, tweet, pop, baubau for popcycle, mo mo

for elmo, go, ball.

- I have read your emails and they mirror mine just a year ago. My

sugguestion, is to contact www.kellydorfman.com

[ ] Tomatis/Supplements/NACD ........ Need Advice

Good Morning All,

We finished our 2nd round of Tomatis about 3 weeks ago and I am very

pleased with what I am seeing. My daughter is extremely verbal and

gives me at least 1 sentence a day (at least 3 words). She is

extremely sing-songsy, she's more " balanced " , she's more open to

talking to kids (eventhough her sentences aren't clear, kinda

jibberish), it's like she's clearer when pronouncing her words.

I have stopped private ABA and Floortime for the remainder of the

year. Our ABA therapist is actually writing my daughter's IEP,

training and observing Iman's teachers. (Iman's IEP seemed hard for

the teacher yet we have met 4 times since August to change Iman's goals

because she has completed them. So I am really happy about her

progress.) Our Floortime therapist recommended we take a break because

she feels Iman is above her level so they will find another person in

the group to work with Iman.

So I am at a point where I am considering NACD again.... like maybe now

is a good time. We had an appointment for August of this year but I

canceled it because I was paying so much for ABA, Floortime, Swimming,

Tomatis, etc. We will only be able to do the NACD program on the

weekends so I'm wondering if I should even go there???? Would it be

worth it?

Last, I have been reading the threads concerning Aniracetam/choline

and phosphaline and I am wondering how helpful they could be for us?

You know, if this is the right direction to go. We recently had an EDS

done and my daughter is really getting balanced so it's like what is

next .... to get this language flowing?

I apologize for the long post but any help would be appreciated.

I was told htat my daughter was apraxic by an earlier ST about a year ago.  We

started with Floortime and my daughter seemed more cognitive and a little more

receptive.  We started ABA 8 months after that and it just added to it; it

really helped iwth Behavioral issue and helped us work on attention.  It's hard

to explain what TOmatis has done because I am ding supplements and swimming also

so all of this combined (after the 2nd round) my daughter is much, much more

open to language, she has short sentences everyday and she is quick to pick up

on what I say.  For instance, we saw achild today that we hadn't seen in awhile

and I waved at him and said Hi, Jordan.  My daughter looked at him for a quick

second then said " Hi.Jor.Dan " .  I also think what is helping is that we have

been following some of the NACD instructions that have been posted on the lists.

Doing all of this; she's jus tmore regulated and balances.  Now I am wondering

what the next step should be???
