Here is a current source of information on mercury toxicity from Web MD. If I'm

not mistaken, this site is used as a resource within the medical community

(correct me if I'm wrong -- I know my son's ped. has used it in the past).

Anyway, I stumbled across this a few days ago while researching the topic. Check

under the headings of " causes " and " treatments " (can't remember the

specifics.....but you get the picture)..... it speaks of thimersol's current use

in certain childhood vaccines.

are more than the standard allowed in water, andthose trace amounts add up.Also,

the perservative used a lot is aluminum. It definitely plays a role in the

Jen-

They are still allowed to put " traces " of the preservatives into the

vaccines and still be under the guidelines of the FDA. Those trace amounts

will

still effect the children-- especially those who are susceptible in the first

place.

Well, Jen-- here's the precise problem. Yes, while there are some viruses

that they can contract that CAN POSSIBLY be dangerous-- which risk factor is

higher? A child with a known neuro disorder is already susceptible to those

toxins, so MORE toxins in their systems will only worsen their condition, in

my experience. It will also lower their immune system so they wouldn't be

able to fight off these typical childhood viruses/diseases if they ever come in

contact with them.

I will say that personally speaking-- in my own experience and seeing many,

many families affected negatively by vaccines, I believe that the risk factor

is HIGHER in getting those vaccines than the slim chance that the children

ever contract the disease.

Do some research on the viruses themselves and see what your child's risk

factors would be. There are TONS of books out there that can help give neutral

information where you can research the diseases and the risk factors and how

you as a parent can be PROACTIVELY protecting your child against those in the

first place whether the kids are vaxxed or unvaxxed.

There was a book I suggested--- The Vaccine Guide by Randall Neustaeder

that you can find on amazon.com-- here's a link. I find it to be a great

starter reference guide for parents

Mercury fre shots have aluminum in them aside from trace mercury. If

a kid can't excrete that it could do damage. There is good info in

the archives on this. Apparently they took aluminum out of pet shots

10 years ago...hmm. Plus, it may not be the preservative but the shot

itself. Lots at play there. If I can finnd the archive I am referring

to I will post.

I don't know how you can proactively protect your child against theses

viruses if they are not immunized and they go to school with other children who

are not immunized. You cannot keep a child in the house their whole life, and

yes, these children can die from some of these illnesses. I do everything in

my power to protect my child but due to being on the autism spectrum his

immune system is weaker anyway. Many people have vaccinated later or spread

out

the shots. Yes, I would feel awful and sick if his autism got worse and I

would never forgive myself, I also would never forgive myself if he died from

some disease I could have protected him from. You say it is rare that these

illnesses would be contracted but think about it a whole bunch of non

immunized children running around spreading germs. Yuck. Guess I will just have

to

go with my gut, either way I lose.

I have heard that many spectrum kids when the tithers are checked are

found to be immune. You could chek those to help aid you in your

decision.

Hey all.....

I remember months ago watching some newscast that indicated that we can actually

'test' our children to see if they would react to the vaccines but that the

doctors don't do it because it is too expensive. Does anybody remember this

from anywhere or know what the test might be called?

, I know that I either read about it or 'saw' it on TV.... but I paid it no

mind since Mark has already had all of his shots. I remember there being a test

that you could do to see if your child would be geneticly prone to vaccination

injury. I just have no idea where this info came from.

Perhaps ask around on this? I know it's a long shot but I do remember this in

my mind. I have read so many books and seen so many articles and papers on this

subject (autism/NDD) that I cannot recall with any acuracy..... but keep your

eyes open because I have heard that this 'test' exists. I distinctly remember

this being from a credible source such as a TV interview or from a book......

perhaps Evidence of Harm by Kirby? ....not sure.... Anyone know what I

Sorry I cannot be of more help here......

I know that there are safer vaccination schedules and there are different

sources of vaccines that are reported to be better then others..... There are

books on this subject and although I haven't read it, I have heard via the

internet that " What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Children's Vaccinations "

by Dr. Stephanee Cave is very good and helpful when planning a safer vaccination

schedule for your child. This is heresay only and I have not personally read

this book.
