Guest guest
This is the new SpamGuard in action. However, apparently it is turned up too high and many, many are marking plain old messages as spam. Depending on your home software email program and your settings, your routine messages may be put in the Inbox, go into a Junk folder, be Deleted, or somewhere else. The fix is for the Moderator (me in this case) to: - go into the Management area of the group - then go to Group Settings - under Group Settings, click Messages - then go to Posting and Archives - and click Edit - look under Posting Options - the last category is SpamGuard - turn it off - at the bottom of the screen click on Save Changes I did this a few hours ago but it might take a day for changes to be processed. There is some information on SpamGuard currently appearing at the top of each screen in . While overall it is very nice they are trying to stay on top of the spam situation and filter out nonsense, this still has a few kinks. Will post if anything new comes up. . P.S. Recently added something to the Join This Group function. Now a person sees one of those non-printed words that a person has to type in before they join a group. This was started to block all the spam-junk mail that automatically joins and posts crud to groups. I appreciate that is trying to combat the new spam tactics as they appear.
