Thank you so much, . I also agree that we need to take it

slowly. Last week, the doctor seemed great. This week, my husband

came with me, and it seemed like the doctor was trying to show off or

something.

I know from experience that my son can't tolerate regular Super-Nu-

Thera and DMG makes him hyper (we tried it on our own). I've also

heard that many kids can't tolerate CLO, but when I mentioned this to

the doctor, he said, " No, I've never heard of a single child that

can't tolerate CLO " . He also saw no problem in giving everything at

once and said " I won't see you for another month. A month can mean a

world of difference in these kid's lives " . I agree, but I don't want

to overload my son when we haven't even gotten these tests back.

Your email really reassured me, as I was starting to doubt myself.

I think that maybe we'll start with the pro-biotic or culturelle

first and then slowly take it from there. I'm going to be prepared

the next time I go in and not let that doctor bully me into something

I don't feel comfortable with.

Thanks!

, If you start to give the good bacteria before you do your

stool sample- it is not going to tell if there was any in the gut to

begin with. Although sometime we test and do stay on things like

the good bacteria to see if it is making it to where it is suppose

and is still alive and helping. Your doctor is going for a baseline

on the good bacteria I beleave the lab likes to now if supplements

have been given or not for there report- get copies of all the test

you run they make great reading-

My son has tried Klair, Houston and Kirkmans- We use the Kirkmans

your doctor wants you to try and my son can not use the others.

There are going to be supplements your son will not tolerate - with

mine it was Vit. B6 ( now he can) This is one really hard thing

about treating our kids it is never the same with 2 because there

are so many issues.

You wanted a paper my favorite in " Understanding Autism " by

Jepson MD you will find it at the Children's Biomedical Center of

Utah inc web page (cbcutah.com) My 2 Cents Ann

Then he has not seen very many kids, or parents do not report bad reactions to

him.

Yep, it can take much less time than that to totally mess up your child, then

you have to remove everything, wait until he settles down

[which can take a while], then start all over. How much time has he lost then?

Good for you!
