I am a mother of a 9-year-old-boy who was dx when he was almost 5. You´ve answered an email such this but my question is related to his remission.I mean when an AIH is detected in early stage and in small children, do you think he can be cured till the point of no liver transplant in the future? He´s been taking pred 4 times a week (5mg) and Imuran (37,5)every day.He will have a laproscopic liver biopsy in June and the doc will see if he is ready for a remission.I know each case is a case.I got worried about a cirrosis in the future and a liver list in the future. Can you tell me anything about it? Lookig forward to an answer Ana Ana, no one with AIH is ever cured. The disorder is permanent. However, not everyone needs a liver transplant, not by a long shot. Some people have such a mild case of AIH that they never even need treatment! Knowledge about AIH and how to treat it has improved greatly in recent years. Who knows what advances may be made in your son's lifetime? Palmer's book gives some statistics about remission, recurrence, etc., but I don't know whether these apply equally for children. I have heard that infants with AIH have considerable difficulty. I don't have any medical background at all. Perhaps the AARDA group has more information about pediatric AIH, or perhaps other parents here can tell you something about the long-term prognosis for children. Guest guest
Harper: Thanks a lot for your answer.I´ve been looking forward to it these days. Palmer´s book is being shipped for me.I´m sure it will help me a lot. My son´s doc is a very good doc .The problem is the fact she lives far away from us and some of our doubts are hard to be taken out when we contact her for some urgent reason. I´ll try to contact some more parents whose children have an AIH. Anyway I am still open to receive emails from anyone with info about AIH in children. Guest guest
in hindsite allowing for the fact i was probably getting very different quantities it was having a good effect. , Could you tell me what you mean by " having a good effect " ? Did you just generally feel better, or was there something more specific? Just curious as my son seems to " behave " much better on this. Behavior, cognition, cooperativeness etc. Thanks. Guest guest
I have had constant distended abdomen and an increas inweight from 145 to 170 lbs since middle of 2004 when I had eaten a lot of Mc's Fish Sandwiches in a place in rural Arkansas. And it is bloated. When I do a lot of juice and pineapple cleansing the belly gets softer but the bloating and extension and weight do not go away. I thought it might be a work - as an electronic test last fall said it was a dwarf tapeworm but other tests since showed it was not there. Other people detect bacterial infection. I get oxygen from the clinic 3 times a week inhaling and that helps my whole body - I have had lymphatic soreness in the sides of my neck and sore in the back of the throat on and off for 3 months - and it gets worse with starch and sugar and coffee. Better with green juices and fresh fruits but sometimes comes with the good foods, too. I think the latter must be from cleansing. When I take a lot of rose hips chips I definitely feel better -lots of C Complex and Vit E and Beta Carotene - etc - alwagys have felt goo with this and with Vit C and Bioflavenoid tablets before that. Any ideas? I also have a mold and bacterial asthma condition, as when I do rose hips or garlic or even pineapple and especially the oxygen the lungs clear up, same with taking good sea weed - like kelp from Maine Coast Sea Vegetables - cleans things in the bronchials right up. But came down with a lung problem in fall of 2004 and while xrays did not show anything CT scan in Auguat showed pneumonia - a blotch of while in the lungs and I was really sick. I also had a CT scan in Dec and that showed no more while blotch in the lung lobe. I know Dr says asthma is from Ascaris but I got this lung thing from inhaling mold and fungus in two places. Other people also got it the first time I got it as well. Lou A few items from this just past many item email: Thanks, Corey about the 30,000 zapper making you tired - or rather, sleepy, and the melatonin experience - I get that relaxation a lot, too. Nice to know what it is. Thanks for the pinworm info - where do I get a mini freq generator? The long info about hospitals just repeats in some details what many people have known for a long time. Dr Schulze mentioned this a lot on his own story. His advice is to stay out of hospitals (unless needed in emergency, accidents, etc I suppose) and use high intensity, high volume treatments. Nice to have some report data from you. I'll look at other emails in that long one - this message truncated. Lou --- Dr wrote: > There are 9 messages in this issue. > > Topics in this digest: > > 1. Guest guest
About Pinworms - thanks for the long email, Nina Pavlotsky - I may have it all - pinworms and ascaris - altho a competent MD homeopath with an Intero Machine tested me for Mold in the chest and intestines - he found and did not find in general parasites there. Any ideas on this, Nina? Also - what did your friends do for the herbs - which ones? Just the three of Dr ? And which zapper. Thanks. Also does a magnetic zapper pulser from, say, Sota labs do it? And does anyone have experience with oxygen machine or ozone machine rubber suits - as i do very well in the lungs, in the digestion and in the brain and withbody strength when breathing in 45 mins of oxygen at the clinic. For Vbaker - for your friend who has hypo thyroid - the thyroid needs organic iodine from herbs and foods - raw kelp helps - the best for the thyroid I have taken is Frontier Natural Food Coop's powdered kelp available in health food store jars and in capsules in jars - Frontier also sells it bulk and in 300 capsule bags less expensively - there is also Maine COast and Eden brand kelp and that stuff in health food stores and directly from Maine Coast Sea Vegetables - in lin Maine - also has sodium alginate which is anti-fungal - my lungs clea up from that. You can also get a powdered herbal blend for the thyroid and one for the adrenals from Dr 's Herbs and even in bulk altho it taste's bad. The Herb Shop in Springville Utah ac 800 and 801 has this. You can get herbal tincture for the endocrine glands - incl for the thyroid from Stanmar health food store in Midvale Utah, ac 801 - you can see if Margene is free and ask her. But the other folks there know about things. I have used both companies and nowadays use the whole or powdered seaweed and the Dr 's. Guest guest
Lou, About Pinworms - thanks for the long email, Nina Pavlotsky - I may have it all - pinworms and ascaris - altho a competent MD homeopath with an Intero Machine tested me for Mold in the chest and intestines - he found and did not find in general parasites there. Any ideas on this, Nina? This mold you are talking about most likely comes from the moldy foods you are eating. This mold can come from the bread you eat. It is in a plastic bag, isn't? Try to buy bread that is in a paper bag. Mold can come from nuts, dairy product, grains, or from any bruised fruit or vegetable. If you feel gassiness and bloating you do have a problem with bad bacteria. You may try Dr. program that works perfectly for everybody who does it: 6 turmeric caps 3t/day 6 fennel caps 3t/day Lugol's iodine 6 drops (if you are not allergic to iodine) in half glass of water after meals and bedtime Multiple digestive enzymes - 3x3t/day Hydrochloric acid 10-15 drops put on food or beverage or water, also 3t/day This is an excellent program. You do it for several days, usually a week, but relief comes very quickly in several hours. If you take other supplements you'd better take this caps and Lugol's after meals. I used it myself, my family and all my friends even without visible serious problem did it in a smaller dose with turmeric and fennel(2capsx3t/day). I think after this program you will need good probiotics. You may use organic plain yogurt, kefir, buttermilk or you can make it yourself. Take two cups of warm milk add to it couple of tablespoons of sour cream and leave it on a countertop to become sour. Usually it takes several days. When it is ready you have the best pro-biotic, add frozen raspberries, some liquid honey, sliced dry apricots and you have an excellent breakfast meal. Take two-three tablespoons of the drink to start a new portion of milk for the next dose. Also - what did your friends do for the herbs - which ones? Just the three of Dr ? And which zapper. My friend was sure that she was infected during a party. She started coughing without any reason in a day, no cold or any other symptoms. She said that when the food was on the table ready for the people to eat two beautiful Labradors were running around the table and the dust and the hair were seen in the air, the day was so sunny. She started with 2 tsp of Black Walnut Tincture, 3 Wormwood and 3 clove. And she zapped every day. In a week the cough was still there and she increased BWT to 5 tsp, 9 wormwood and 9 cloves, and she continued zapping on standard program 3-4 times along. She has zapper from Dr research association. It took her almost a month to get rid of the problem. She is sure that she had ascaris eggs in the lungs. Some people like to zap before bedtime but Dr. recommends not to zap after 8pm. I use the same zapper but I use many program drivers with it I have advanced cancer and I am on a very intensive supplement program and zapping. I also use a small ozonator for the foods, water and olive oil. You may use the sites to order www..com They have zappers, ozonators and Minifreq generator and other equipment. They have wholesale page and you can get discount on quantities. Other reliable sites I use for supplements are www.shrc.net and www.road-to-health.com Nina --------------------------------- Photos Got holiday prints? Guest guest
I had thyroid cancer. Please reconsider taking it out. You can heal it with Iodine, detoxing and supporting nutrients. I have a friend that did this. Read my website www.naturalthyroidchoices.com for my story (blog) and nutrients needed to heal. If you have mercury amalgam fillings consider getting them removed by a holistic dentist. There has been research to show that thyroid cancer nodules contain mercury. Guest guest
Well that's me and I am the owner of this group. My website is www.naturalthyroidchoices.com and it has my story of how I healed with iodine. That's why I am passionate.
