Guest guest
as far as i can see adhd is a pancreatic disorder with the brain having to go for adrenalin for its sugar metabolism since the other pathways are not working properly there fore you are looking at a similar situation to autism and need a broad based approached approach in fact i notice that over thirty years the population of children has generally become so much on spectrum through vaccines, metals toxicity and ersatz diet aht the bar has shifted and by older standards i have yet to met a child not at least somewhat on spectrum. so bascially you are looking at spectrum issues and enzymes can be part of adressing that but there is a heap of other stuff, especially minerals transport enhancement since adhd seems to relate strongly to disordered minerals transport tyrptophan with low rda b6 helps with anxiety and hyper enzymes will help with yeast, digestive efficency(read normal looking stools) probably you need a hair test to look for heavy metals, a lead blood test might be helpful as well if you suspect high lead levels http://members.tripod.com/mueller_ranges/links/as_links.html chromium gtf may help with brain blood sugar issues > Hi, wondering if anyone has had any luck with using enzymes for a > child with ADHD? Guest guest
thanks for the info! alot of what you wrote is totally foriegn to me. What do you mean by a pancreatic disorder, his other pathways are not working properly possibly because of yeast?? what is disordered mineral transport? Needs more EFA's???? chromium gtf may help with brain blood sugar issues, never heard of this! Is there someone I can read up on this??? tyrptophan, he takes 5HTP 100mg per day, is that the same thing?? Sorry for so many questions! Right now he is on, 5Htp, gaba plus, multi-vitamin, flax seed oil and calcium/magnesium. > > Hi, wondering if anyone has had any luck with using enzymes for a > > child with ADHD? Guest guest
5htp is the next step from tryptophan, but apparently doesn't necessarily make it to the brain, whereas tryptophan does. pancreatic injury is a known effect of vaccines given too young. plus other things. the pancreas makes enzymes and a lot of things necessary for sugar metabolism. adrenalin is another sugar metabolism pathway that seems to be more robust to developmental disorder than the normal mechanisms, so the brain which needs sugar more than oxygen will switch into it. flax seed oil need balancing with omega sixes, safflower oil, sunflower oil. also don't overdo the flax seed oil. is the multivitamin a low rda or high rda version? if you tell me the brad and type i can find it on the web. some of the calciums can be strongly inhibiting of absorbtion of other minerals. yeast is also a sign of disordered minerals transport. bascially google and pub med are the best search resources on the net. Many ADHD kids are helped by reduction of phenols and/or No-Fenol enzyme http://www.danasview.net/phenol.htm http://www.houstonni.com/ Dana
Guest guest
We are treating my son who is 6, but started to have a health decline at the age of 5, I really don't know where he would have ended up if we didn't treat him biomedically. We were seeing definite AD/ADHD behavior, then after a few months of waiting and watching, autistic behavior was surfacing after MMR/VArivax vaccine in June of 03.We are seeing a DAN doctor since May of 04 and all the behaviors are gone. Ad/ADHD, autism are off the screen. He now is learning, focused, doing fabulously in 1st grade. My son's DAN is an pediatric allergist/immunologist who has presented at DAN he said that AD/ADHD is at the beginning of the spectrum, and autism is at the extreme end. Now I am truly convinced that it is, as we were seeing the decline on a daily basis, it was happening before our eyes.Keep reading and looking at it from that angle treat the same way, it probably wi;ll not take as long to undo the damage. > > >>>> Hi - I am looking for information more specific to enzyme use > > and ADHD (and maybe generalized allergies)...but if anyone has > specific info use with ADHD inattentive - I would sure love to hear > from you. > > Sue in Iowa, > > I am in the Feingold org and there are quite a few people using No- > Fenol in particular to help with the phenol foods.
