Guest guest
If you have any reaction to opiate sedatives (which is nearly all sedatives), make sure they give you the anti-emetic FIRST, before they sedate you. I had a laparoscopy years ago that they did NOT give me the anti-emetic (or as I call it “the non-barfing drug”) before sedation, and I puked violently for 45 minutes (even without anything in my stomach). I just thought I would mention it because there is nothing worse then puking when you stomach muscles are all sliced up. I'm having reconstructing surgery (hernia, torn scar) - so in 2 words a third c-section. So I'm really planing to be fine (let me dream please... at least this time I wont have a screaming baby next to me) Thanks (I forgot your name) for mentioning a ahead Rx. Thats an EXCELLENT IDEA! sophie > > Sounds like it may be a colon/endoscopy? Your description of the procedure > sounds like how my doc described the procedure.
