Guest guest
Here is the hyperlink to Dannon's website: http://www.dannon.com/dn/dnstore/cgi-bin/ProdSubEV_Cat_240849_SubCat_241517_NavRoot_200_NavID_241522.htm The operative statement on that page is: Gluten: This protein is found in wheat, oats, rye and barley. DANNON yogurt products are not formulated to contain gluten, but they can't be considered gluten free. The natural system for stabilizing flavor might contain ingredients derived from gluten sources. Since there is a current lack of consensus on individual sensitivity levels to gluten, and there are no accurate tests to detect the presence and amount of gluten, DANNON yogurt cannot be classified as "gluten free." Eating or not eating Dannon yogurt is just like all of our individual decisions on what to eat and what not to eat. I have successfully eaten Dannon, Trader Joes, Safeway, Pavel's, Boots (UK), Mueller's (Germany) and probably other yogurts. But maybe I am not as sensitive. By the way, what I read on Dannon's website sounds like the corporate attorney's statement so that you can't sue Dannon.
