Arrive when they open so they can cook the fish (with no seasoning) on a clean grill. The grill soon gets contaminated with their seasoning. Salads are individually made - ask for no croutons. We order a double order of steamed vegetables as the side dish with the fish.

I can only speak for the restaurant in Palo Alto. I eat there often. I

get the shrimp louie salad, which is wonderful. The manager at that

store is great - he will gladly check anything you are interested in

and will clean the grill and watch your food being prepared himself...

They have two different rice dishes...one has rice vermicelli that I

recall being safe - but check just to make sure. I recommend bringing

your own bread (they have always been fine with my doing so - they

even offered to heat it last time!) beause theirs smells delish - or

ask they don't even bring the glutenoid stuffs to the table.

I always recommend the tomato salad as a side. But I love tomatoes, so

that's a given. Of course, it's safe as are the parsley potatoes.

As for the kids menu, I think that won't be an option...if I remember

correctly there are fish and chips and pasta on there.

Sorry I can't help more...perhaps call the manager at either location

and they can offer more choices and/or confirm those I believe are safe.

Wish you luck,

Carla
