Guest guest
To the best of my knowledge, regular antihistamines, don't affect "liver itching". I'm not a doctor, I have no medical training. All I know is that they didn't help me. They may work for other people. I shouldn't have made any remark about antihistamines' effectiveness, as I don't have that knowledge. Most certainly, we shouldn't use their effectiveness or non-effectiveness as a diagnostic tool. If you have any doubt at all about the possibility of autoimmune liver disease, you must ask your doctor, who probably will run a group of liver function tests. It wouldn't hurt to ask about it just on the basis of continued, rash-free itching. Most doctors never encounter a case of this in their entire practice. H. LOL, actually I was thinking maybe I'd finally be able to figure out why the heck I itch so much!
