Guest guest
Regarding Integrity Foods, I have visited their store four or five times. Each time, I have walked out either buying just one thing or buying nothing. I absolutely appreciate the costs involved in owning a small business (we own a small business), but the prices of their gluten-free products are so high, I just frankly cannot afford them. Cupertino Nutrition's gluten-free products prices are a bit high, too, but at least they are within my budget. We all know g-f food is not cheap. As for the Lifestream Buckwheat Wildberry g-f waffles, just go across the street to Whole Foods. WF sells them for half what Integrity Foods sells them for - only $2.39 a box! Friday I was at IntegrityFoods and the clerk told me the owners will be closing the store inApril. She said the owners hadn't made any decisions on sales oranything more specific as they are involved in a big wedding at themoment. This is the store that sits on Bascom across from Whole Foods. I'vebeen getting Kinnickinnick Italian rice bread and some nutbars(Natural brand) as well as frozen buckwheat waffles there. Oh well.In November we did what I thought would send me to the nut farm. Weremodeled our kitchen. Brave ha! The worst of it lasted two to threeweeks. But finished in January. We used the same basic footprint withsome minor changes. The big surprise was some bad wiring, a firewaiting to happen. So I am relieved we have it all replaced now. Younever know whats behind those walls in an older house. The cabinetpeople worked with us on a plan to move fast. We had everything hereto install ahead of time. And we used one company to do the project.(Except the granite) Bay Cabinet Supply in San Leandro did a great job.We precooked 12 large meals(family sized). Froze those out in ourfreezer. Then we used Outback, PF Changes and In and Out for therest.and our microvave and grill. Good thing November was mild weatherwise. Our oldest just saw Dr. Grey at Stanford the end of January. He isdoing really well. Has continued to gain weight and muscle mass:145-155-162 pounds( 6'1 tall) over the course of two years sincediagnosis. Son is very active in Aikido and working out at school.Grey gave our son his email to contact him if he has any futureproblems. Our son really likes him. Guest guest
Thanks, we haven't tried those waffles yet, but if we like them itws nice to know WF has them. And yes Integrity prices are high. There were about two things I purchased there. The Natural cruncgy peanut bar as a substitiute fot the rice bars when kids get tired of eating rice bars. If anyone knows of another store with these I'd love to know."Hersom, A." <susan.hersom@...> wrote: Regarding Integrity Foods, I have visited their store four or five times. Guest guest
You can make tons of waffles and delicious too with Pamelas Pancake mix. They make the best. You can get the mix at whole foods.
Guest guest
It's a high protein bar(20 g.) and the name on the bag is /the Natural.Made by PDS, Inc. po box Sab Rey Ca 92068 phone 866-348-7192.They have 20 g. of carbs., 17 g. fat. My oldest was also tired of the rice bars, although the ice cream topping idea sounds good, he likes these peanut bars. My other son does not care for the peanut bars. But the only nuts he will eat are cashews.. I needed another easy to grab nutritious food for the oldest as he is in college and running around a campus he needed this convenience.
