MeetUp group, and gf girl seeks housing

Hi there,

I had a good time at the meeting in Oakland on Saturday -- it was

enjoyable and a relief to meet Celiacs in person.

I plan to start up a Bay Area Celiac MeetUp group -- you know that

MeetUp event thing on the web that helps people organize and meet

around certain topics? Go to www.meetup.org. I got the idea when I

was in NYC - there's an active Celiac group in Manhattan. Sounds

like there might have been a Celiac MeetUp group in the past, but it

dissolved for some reason. I'd like to get one started again. It

would involve people meeting maybe once a month or every six weeks

at a Bay Area restaurant able to accomodate us. I'm going to check

out some places and come back with a proposed date and time. Let me

know what you think.

Also, I wanted to mention (as I did at the meeting) that I'm going

to be looking for an affordable room in SF or in Oakland/Berkeley.

Just in case you know of anyone who needs a roommate. I'm 37, clean,

not flakey, easygoing, and sans pets. I'll be looking to move Dec. 1

or Jan. 1, I'm flexible.
