Guest guest
Hi Emma: Yes, all fruit, although she is not wild about oranges and grapefruit. We only give organic fruit. We do concentrate on the darker fruit, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries. In the beginning she would not eat any fruit until we cut out all white sugar. We tried every expensive probiotic out there, but what worked was Kyodophilus from Vitamin Shoppe at 4 x the recommended bottle dosage. Cheap, too! She is not cf/gf, so you would have to check and see if the Kyodophilus is okay if you are on the diet. Another good tip from Mandi in the UK, was Candex. It is an enzyme, given on an empty stomach. Worked, we don't have to use it anymore. BTW, bananas have FOS in them and are said to be good for getting rid of yeast, honey also has it. However, I would limit the bananas to 2 a day. Good luck, Re: [ ]/was: Re: Yeast questions??? hi rebecca, how long did it take to get rid of the yeast allowing fruit ? did you allow all fruit? and what anti-fungals did u use and at what dose thank you its just my boys love fruit and they have dreadful candida they would eat bananas all day!! regards emma <michonamission@...> wrote: I actually AM withholding fruit...I was telling my girlfriend the other day that I think I was spending $50week on fruit because my son was up to 5 fruits a day...cutting back to 2 has been brutal because he is pointing to the fruit bowl and wondering why I stopped after just a little bit...juice is hard to cut back on too. What substitutes are you using for drinks? My son wont drink water or rice milk, or any milk for that matter...thanks for the support! Also...do you know what harm lies in aspartame? > > > > > > > When he finishes the meds after 3 weeks can I begin > > > to introduce > > > more sugar to his diet (I've already eliminated 2/3 > > > of it) or do I > > > have to wait until the mercury is out? > > > > We try to remove all (100%) of sugar. > > > > We find that yeast is a chronic problem.
