Guest guest
Hi All, Just back from a shopping trip to the Cupertino Whole Foods. They now are making GF sandwiches at their deli. I asked the guy about cross-contamination and he said they have a whole separate condiments container, cutting board, knife, etc for the GF stuff. I decided to give it a try, but I did have to remind him to change his gloves. They have only been doing it for a few days. They don't charge extra for the GF bread (they use the Whole Foods Bakehouse) which I thought was nice. The only complaint I would have is that it's not toasted, so as is always the case with cold GF bread, it was pretty crumbly. It was sure nice to have the option, though!
