Rectal/Anal itching

I've been suffering for 2 weeks now!

I have always thought these were related to hemmorhoids.

When I was pregnant, I always suffered too.

I did have an episode of a one time shocking red blood on the t.p. when I wiped approx 3-3 weeks ago without any recurrence.

I am using Tuck's pads and they help for a short while.( Stinging!)

I always use baby wipes to clean up , but they are stinging a little at the moment--though they have no alcohol.

Does anyone have any suggestions or tried and true remedies?

I am not having any UC symptoms.

I have had some mild C on and off in the last few weeks--which totally amazes me--with UC I have always gone the other way and have never had C. What's up with that??? I increased veggies and water, which helped.
