Guest guest Report post Posted December 10, 2003 Anyone experience this one? My belly button is bright red inside. It's only on the inside no where close to the outside, probably why I have no idea how long it's been this way. Don't usually look INSIDE my navel (kind of hard to do, LOL). I'm 17 months post-op so not related to surgery. Haven't had any plastics done, so not related to that. It does seem to always have been " damp " in there; I have noticed that the last couple of months. Sometimes even first thing in the morning (damp I mean). Didn't think much about it other than it was probably retaining water because of the shape my tummy is now a days. It's kinda closed up where it was more open before (bigger tummy, more open -- lose weight, smaller tummy, closed navel -- makes sense). Anyway it's red, a bit crusty near the edge, feels a bit " warm " and is a bit stinky. All signs of yeast infection, right? I've got some Nystatin powder my doc prescribed for rashes. Would this help? Warrant a trip to the doc? Just wondering if anyone else can relate and tell me what might help. No pain, no symptoms other than those above. TIA S.
