Hi Shirley,

It sounds like your body is just used to getting up during the night

and just doesn't want to break the habit. I am sure you must be

exhausted not getting a full nights sleep.

My eating is improving day by day. I am now able to chew foods like

chicken, but like you, carrots is still an impossible task along with

the steak. I do find the jaw does tend to hurt after chewing which I

am hopeful will get better as the jaw adjusts to chewing once again.

Let me know how your OS & OD goes tomorrow. My first post op dental

cleaning is this upcoming Wednesday. Can't wait to see what my

dentist thinks about my bite. My next OD appt. is on next Monday

with the OS appt. the following week. So it's one dental appt. after

another for the next few weeks.

Talk to you soon,

--Caboose
