Hi , It does sound a little harder to eat with your bands in

that position. Mine are just angle from one tooth on bottom to

one on top. I sure hope your bands do the trick to stop the

movement. I look everyday to see if my bite is shifting. I worry

it will shift to the right again (shifted from 2mm to 5mm before

surgery). So far so good.

Yeah the pressure from rubber bands on the teeth makes them very

sore at times. Today I found out my back molar on bottom is real

sore too from chewing - it wasn't use to the pressure I guess. I

did forget to put bands on this morning after cleaning teeth. I

raced out of the house at 9:30 and wasn't back until 4:30.

Hopefully I didn't do any damage by leaving them off so long. I

guess I'll have to start carrying them with me.

I had some tomato and avocado tonight with salad dressing, that

really hit the spot. I have to be careful as sometimes I don't chew

as good as I need to and then almost choke on food. I need to get

some groceries tomorrow now that I can eat real food again!

Happy Birthday - enjoy that cheesecake!!

Shirley
